Stainless Steel Drum Seat Set

This is a set of three drum seats designed for the urban environment. 10" diameter, 12" and 14"

Encourages exploration of the object and the sounds that it can generate. Can be played with fingers or various mallets. Fingers are much quieter.

Approximately 18" tall (16" when fitted) and in diameters 10"-14" - Stainless Steel construction - virtually indestructable.

Using stainless steel delivers a particular metallic and bright sound. Each seat has a distinct pitch providing elements of the sound palette.

The client for the pictured seats had them beautifully engraved at great expense - click the image left to see them in situ.

These items require a solid concrete foundation - Tab-fittings require to be fitted below surface finish level
