The main body of the product is robust, the air pump being the vulnerable link. To protect against vandals, the top of the instrument may be closed and a 'rose' drilled into the tubing. This severely affects the musicality. These may be supplied with different length tops so a user can switch them between to generate different harmonic relationships.

These unique pieces use the same non-shatter balls as the World Snooker Championships. The base is galvanised steel and is buried in the ground.

These are available in diameters ranging from 50mm to 1metre both as full spheres and hemispheres. A fun and exciting Outdoor Sensory Item

They are a passive implement have a broad fun appeal and an interesting perspective on the users' everyday environment.

I have a one metre version in my living room and my children prefer it to regular seating; they lie over it, lean against it, slide down it, spin on it, wrap around it..., they make faces in it, do funny walks by it, endless amusement.

Stainless steel throughout, self- cleaning (please no abrasives!).

The metal is relatively thin (1mm) and is vulnerable to impact with sufficient force, Please note.

We do install these in public areas but we fill them with concrete first. If the site is non-vulnerable and the users are young or unlikely to be aggressive, the bare ball on its own will be strong enough. I sit on my own one every day but would not wish to jump on it.
