Where do the designs come from? Primarily our designs come from Paul Marshall. Mostly from identifying a specific need, or a conversation where someone says 'wouldn't it be great if...'. Inspiration can come traditional designs, nature, engineering or just sparks from nowhere. The latter sometimes cause sleepless nights but I keep an ideas book for jottings and scribblings that has proven useful. Who builds all the instruments? The majority of the instruments are built and tuned at the bingbangbong workshop by Matt Laverty and Paul Marshall, each element of your instrument commission is hand made. Delivery Times

It is hard to give an exact general delivery estimate for everything. We do try to carry a small stock of our most standard instruments such as chimes and batonkas. Under normal circumstances these can be received anywhere between next day up to one week. However we do have seasonal variations on our workload and cashflow and this delivery may be up to around 3 weeks. We will advise you of the anticipated delivery date at the time of ordering. Where a client wishes us to custom-fabricate an item or make significant adjustments to an existing item, each work item is handled individually and may take up to 6-8 week - Again we would advise of the delivery timescale at the point of ordering. The process of designing, creating and installing a vary large project, a full garden or an extremely complicated design may take months depending on the complexities of the various elements.
