Our Rainbow scheme is standard because it ties in with our Free games and activities, however we have given an indication below where we feel each colour scheme may be used appropriately. We are of course happy to provide colours to meet your needs.

Schools (KS1)  & Nurseries

For our customers who wish to use the chimes in an educational environment we recommend either the Rainbow or Piano colour schemes.

The rainbow scheme has been designed specifically to work hand in hand along with a range of games and activities available to customers in our online Client Resource Area made available after purchase.

The Rainbow scheme still can be useful, particularly for creative investigation, however the piano colour scheme works best in the Chromatic tuning which includes all sharps and flats. These are coloured black as on the piano keyboard as illustrated.

This Piano scheme means that the usergroup are presented with an extremely familiar interface. This Piano style also lends itself to outdoor performance perhaps open days and at school events.

Local Authorities, Architects & Landscape Designers

We work with Local Authorities, Architects and Designers all across the British Isles and the applications are extremely varied from School playground designs, Town Centres, Public Parks, Trim trails etc etc. The Woodland and Forest colour schemes are designed with more rural or out-of-town settings in Mind. Here the aim is for the instruments to blend and compliment with the ambient colour scheme of the site. Please note that the actual colours in the graphic are for indication only. The Forest Scheme is a palette of muted greens and the Woodland Scheme is a range of muted browns.

The Rainbow coloured chimes are recommended where there may be a large element of younger children in the prospective user group such as a managed areas where there are school visits. They are ideal of course for Nurseries and Junior schools which was their original intended placement and the reason for tying up with the activities in our online Client resource area.

The Piano scheme is universally recognisable in Western society and will encourage investigation and interaction in town centres and any public space where passers by can stop and tap out a tune. They are particularly recommended for upper schools or areas where there is a greater musical awaremness and ability.

Bespoke schemes

We are happy to work with a customer's specific requirement and if you wish to suggest colour schemes of your own, please give us a call and we will arrange for those approximate colours.

If you have a larger job that requires specific RAL codes we can certainly work with that however if we need to have paint powder made specifically then we must order 25kg of each colour and there is a significant cost involved, around £300 +VAT per colour plus the cost of the actual paint application.

If you have any queries regarding colours please do not hesitate to get in touch for a friendly and helpful discussion.
